RAID EXPECTATIONS
** Policies are subject to change **

The following guidelines will apply to our members who wish raid with us!

I. Conduct / Expectations

-- Our Code of Conduct applies at all times, including in raids. Treat everyone with respect.

--We expect all raiders to show up prepared for the raid. This means enough reagents/consumables (pots, flasks, food, etc) and gear repaired.

--Your gear should be appropriately gemmed and enchanted!! Get with your class leader for help or discussion with this!

--For the duration of the raid, you will be expected to give 100% effort at all times. People should not be taking random bio’s or AFKs, but we’re aware sometimes emergencies and other things can happen. Being prepared means doing your bio’s before the raid starts, if you want to have a drink next to you, or a snack, get it ahead of time.

--Nobody in the Guild is above constructive criticism!

Required Addons: Deadly Boss Mods, Omen

--Vent: You will be required to at least listen on vent. During boss fights and progression Vent is to be kept clear of chatter, only the raid leader and designated people with callout assignments should be talking.

--We will utilize our raid forum to facilitate discussion of strategies and allow members to give their opinions. During the raid is NOT the time for a free for all strategy discussion amongst all members. Please follow strategy discussions in the forums or other guides made available so that you have at least a basic understanding of what content we will face during the raid.

--All of these guidelines are written with efficiency in mind. We want to make the most out of every minute during a scheduled raid so that we can enjoy the end-game content without WoW becoming a second job, and still enjoy RL!

II. Raid Times / Attendance Policy

--Raids will be scheduled using the calendar system on our website.

Current Raid Schedule
Sunday – Thursday 7:30pm – 11:00pm
**all times are Server Time, CST**

If you are able to attend, sign-up on the calendar. If you do not sign up on the calendar, you should never expect an invite. If you know ahead of time that you can not make it, you should sign up as unavailable on the calendar so that the officers aren’t wondering if you’ll ever sign up. We understand that real-life happens if you signed-up for a raid which you cannot attend, please cancel your signup on the calendar.

Raid invites will begin 15 minutes prior to the raid start. All raiders are expected to be online ahead of time, and waiting at the instance portal for your raid invite. Please be online, un-grouped, and on your way to the raid instance at the time raid invites begin!

III. Approvals for Raids.
-- Approvals will be done based on Rank and Signup. If you don’t sign up on the website don’t expect to be invited to a raid. For further information on ranking and raiding please see Ranking and Raiding

IV. Loot

-- Loot for 25man raids will be distributed based on the EPGP System.

Disciplinary actions for failing to meet our Raiding Expectations

*Not being online and ready to raid 15 minutes prior to raid start means you are Late. The first 2 Lates, you will receive a verbal warning, with consecutive Lates moving to Rank Demotion (and so on as per Disciplinary Action Escalation in the Code of Conduct).

*Arriving online after raid start time 7:30 (or not arriving online at all) will be considered a No Show. We cannot guarantee your spot in that raid if you are not online on time. First No Show receives a verbal warning, with consecutive No Shows moving to Rank Demotion (and so on as per Disciplinary Action Escalation)

*We understand that RL issues come first, however as soon as you know that you will be late or unable to attend a raid please whisper an officer and add an edit to your availability on the raid schedule.

*While we always put RL ahead of wow, we are also running a guild. If we notice a pattern of excessive RL issues we reserve the right to take disciplinary actions. This rule will not apply to most people but everyone should be aware of it
